Designer Marc Jacobs has added the title of creative director of Diet Coke to his CV, replacing Jean Paul Gaultier.
From next month, a limited collection of bottles designed by Jacobs and inspired by the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties will go on sale.
Jacobs said he felt “extremely privileged" to be asked to take on the job because he “admired the work of the other designers who have participated in this project in the past."
To announce the post, Jacobs stars in a photo booth parody of the ‘Diet Coke break’ ad.
“I don’t have much shame or anything in terms of taking off my clothes," admitted the chiseled 49-year-old, whose torso also features a collection of colourful tattoos.
